The tender departs Tuan Chau port late morning, carrying you out into Lan Ha Bay past formations that took 500 million years to erode into their current shape. Lunch is served as the cruise moves deeper into the bay.
The afternoon is split between the caves and the water. A guide leads you into Bright Cave and Dark Cave by kayak and bamboo rowboat, threading through passages where the rock closes overhead. Back on board, the Jacuzzi is on the roof. The swimming platform is at water level. You choose.
The day ends with a sunset party on the sundeck, followed by an onboard cooking class and dinner in the restaurant.
Banh Mi moment: the sun dropping behind the karsts while you're in the Jacuzzi, one glass of something cold in hand — nobody is telling you to move along.

Počasí v destinaci Ha Long Bay – Červenec
Vietnam lze navštívit po celý rok. Sever je v zimě (leden, únor) chladnější, na horách může i sněžit. Podzim (září, říjen) bývá ve středním Vietnamu deštivý. Jih je teplý po celý rok, od března do konce září s minimem srážek s výjimkou některých ostrovů. Nejlepší doba k návštěvě: únor–červen a září–prosinec.

Same limestone karst landscape, same UNESCO listing, far fewer boats. Ha Long Bay receives the bulk of cruise traffic; Lan Ha Bay sits just to the south and is noticeably quieter. Most guests who've done both prefer Lan Ha.
Each suite has a private balcony overlooking the bay and a bathtub. Two bottles of water are left in the cabin each day. The cruise carries a small number of suites — the onboard experience stays personal rather than resort-scale.
Cave kayaking (Bright Cave and Dark Cave), bamboo rowboat, rooftop Jacuzzi, swimming off the hull, sundeck gym, onboard cooking class, and a sunset Happy Hour. The morning of Day 2 adds another kayak session through the islets.

October to April offers the clearest skies and calmest water. May to September is warmer but brings more mist and occasional rain — the bay often looks more dramatic in these conditions, but kayaking can be affected in heavy weather.
Light clothes, swimwear, a light layer for evenings (the sundeck gets cool after sunset), sunscreen, and any motion-sickness medication if you need it. The cruise provides towels and complimentary toiletries.
The cruise takes up to 16 guests across its suites. You'll share activities with other passengers, but your cabin and balcony are entirely private. If you want to take the full cruise exclusively for your group, ask us about a full charter.
